The CHANEL Watch Creation Studio transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary with the MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ PINCUSHION collection. Reminiscent of a dressmaker’s pincushion, each piece features a remarkable oversize case with a curved crystal. Made from 18K gold, diamonds, mother-of-pearl or onyx, the House’s Haute Couture symbols and the universe of CHANEL Beauty decorate the dials of these timepieces. Watches born from a powerful creative gesture and embellished with the savoir-faire of the Métiers d’Art.

Representing strength and majesty, the lion exhibits its different facets through this collection’s creations. With their finely honed skills of polishing, gem-setting and sculpture, the House’s artisans possess an unrivaled expertise that augments these Haute Horlogerie timepieces, turning them into jewelry. Black and 18K gold cuffs and sautoirs set with diamonds and onyx pay tribute to Mademoiselle’s astrological sign.

On a cuff, a delicate bracelet or a sautoir, these 18K gold and diamond watches reimagine the button, a signature element of CHANEL style. It takes on the most precious forms: enhanced by a sculpted mother-of-pearl camellia set with a 0.5-carat diamond; as a cultured half-pearl, like the buttons on the iconic little black jacket; and adorned with a lion or Mademoiselle’s profile in 18K gold. Under the impetus of the Creation Studio and through the expertise of the House’s artisans, the button is revisited and transformed to elevate these Haute Horlogerie pieces.

The talented seamstresses at the rue Cambon ateliers in Paris continually inspire the Watch Creation Studio. The COUTURE O’CLOCK collection is an homage to this heritage: a thimble motif embroidered with stones, a spool of thread set with an emerald-cut yellow sapphire or a pendant in the image of Mademoiselle dressed in a black suit trimmed with diamonds.
