Although diamonds can only be scratched by other diamonds, they can easily scratch other stones and metal.
Although diamonds are hard, they are nevertheless delicate stones, and are liable to break if subjected to impact at the wrong angle.

Check that stones are secure. To do so, gently move your finger over the stones.If the stones are loose, our jewelers will inspect the setting.

Check that closures and chain clasps work perfectly.

Check that the silk thread of your pearl necklace is not loose.If it is, a pearl restringing is necessary.
In-store appraisal
In addition to these regular checks, you are invited to bring your jewelry pieces to a CHANEL boutique every 5 years to preserve their beauty and sparkle.
