Vanilla Planifolia was selected from among more than 117 varieties of the plant, due to the fact it is extraordinarily rich in polyketones. Grown and harvested at the CHANEL open-sky laboratory in Madagascar, it has been honed to create four active fractions infused with its skin-enhancing properties: polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia, éphémères, enfleurage oil and intense vanilla water.

Himalayan Swertia is an extraordinary plant sourced from a treasure trove of biodiversity in Bhutan, where it has been used for centuries to care for the skin. The product of a local and sustainable partnership with CHANEL Research, it is harvested by hand every three years, which reflects the length of its flowering cycle. It is then transformed through a process specific to CHANEL, resulting in an active ingredient complex that repairs the skin.

Camellia ceramides are infused into the formula of SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait Pommade Or. Ceramides are known to play a key role in keeping the skin hydrated and maintaining its barrier function.

HOW TO USE

L’APPLICATION SIGNATURE:
To conclude the skincare ritual*, apply SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait Pommade Or all over the face as the final step. Warm the product in your hands, then dab a small amount on each cheek as well as on the forehead. Using both hands, smooth over the face in an upwards motion from the centre outwards.

L’APPLICATION SUBLIMATRICE:
At the end of your ritual, use SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait Pommade Or on targeted areas for bespoke radiance. First, warm the product between your fingers, then apply it to areas that catch the light: the top of the cheekbones and brow bone. A touch of true perfection, the balm illuminates the skin, leaving it emanating sublime radiance.

LE RITUEL RELAXATION:
For an exceptional and surprising experience that promotes well-being, discover this specific technique developed by CHANEL.

Find a quiet place that is conducive to relaxation, and prepare your skin to appear rejuvenated and left looking sublime. With bare hands:
- Apply pressure to the sinuses using the thumbs, then to the eyes using the palms of the hands.
- Continue by massaging the temples in a circular motion.
- Complete the technique with deep smoothing movements, first upwards on the jaw, then outwards on the trapezius.

Next, using the spatula provided, place a small amount of L’Extrait Pommade Or on the fingertips, warm the product and apply it with deep smoothing movements:
- Upwards between the eyebrows, then outwards above the eyebrows, and finally on the entire forehead towards the hairline.
- Continue the movement by smoothing on either side of forehead wrinkles.
- Finally, perform enveloping smoothing movements on the cheeks, followed by relaxing circular movements on the jaw.
