A mesmerizing refillable satin lipstick housed in a faceted square glass case inspired by the mirrors that line the legendary Art Deco staircase in Gabrielle Chanel’s Paris apartment at 31 rue Cambon. 31 LE ROUGE unlocks a fusion of sophistication, technical mastery and design fluidity with an intimate, aesthetic experience.
Each hue is a vibrant reflection of Mademoiselle’s memories, the expertise demonstrated by the ateliers and the creativity and vitality integral to the iconic address. These colours were created to reveal, to embellish, to state the obvious; they were made for singularity rather than subtlety.
COMPOSITION
Composed of 75% naturally derived ingredients, 31 LE ROUGE is an innovation in makeup. The longwearing formula is enriched with Gardenia Oil—a CHANEL-exclusive ingredient*—from Gaujacq, France, and maracuja oil, both of which provide skincare benefits for better-looking lips day after day. Finely micronized pigments combine with sheer mother-of-pearl to deliver intense, purely radiant colour.
After 1 month of use, lips are 70%** more moisturized, 44%*** smoother and 14%*** more defined, plus appear 55%*** firmer.
HOW TO APPLY
Start at the center of lips, drawing an “X” shape from the top lip toward the bottom lip. Then, extend out toward the corners.
To refill, remove the current shade and insert a new one into the base of the case. Refills cannot be used without a case and are compatible exclusively with 31 LE ROUGE.
31 LE ROUGE comes with a quilted black sleeve designed to protect the glass case. Always place the product in the sleeve when not in use to keep it beautifully polished.

Love the lipstick I like the case it came with and the mirror outside shape. I was just in Paris last week and took photos on the stairs of her apartment and the lipstick has the similar vibe.. The lipstick ?? last long and doesn't dry your lips out. Little pricey but worth the purchase

Beautiful peach pink toned lipstick. Adjusting the lip liner and lip gloss colors used in conjunction with the lipstick allows the color to lean more firmly in the pink or peach realm. Texture and longevity of this lipstick is lovely. Packaging is sublime. Bullet feels substantial, but remains sleek. The included protective patch has a magnetic closure and adds to the elevated fell of the product. Exceptional!

Rouge Imaginaire is a beautiful shade of lipstick. It is considered a fuchia and goes very well with my blue eyes and salt and pepper hair. The lipstick stays on well, but has a tendency to fade over time. I am looking forward to ordering refills. Love the art deco case!

The virtual makeover
31 LE ROUGE
Absolutely purchased 31 Le Rouge for the unique and attractive packaging (and it's worth it just for that aspect), but then I also fell head over heels for the satiny lipstick itself. The formula allows a supple glide application - not slick or glossy. Instead, the lipstick applies easily and is effectively buildable with multiple applications, plus it has great staying power. What I appreciate even more is the luminosity - something I haven't seen with other formulas. The "Rouge Beige" is a formidable color, too - I can't imagine it isn't complementary regardless of complexion. I am already planning to buy additional colors - and will definitely buy Rouge Beige again!
