A long-lasting nail colour in a range of shades for all seasons.

COMPOSITION

Enriched with Bioceramics and Ceramides, LE VERNIS provides deep care to help strengthen and improve the quality of nails over time. Along with protective benefits, the formula features carefully selected pigments for an even application and a dramatic look.

HOW TO APPLY

For best results, first apply a thin layer of LA BASE base coat. Then, using the built-in brush applicator, apply the first layer of LE VERNIS colour, followed by a second coat — as thick as the first. Finish with LE GEL COAT top coat to seal in colour.

When following Chanel’s steps illustrated in the video, their nail color is the longest-wearing traditional lacquer I’ve tried on the market. Excellent color and coverage, no nail staining when using the base coat, high shine and longevity with the gel top coat. The formula can even self-correct during drying if there’s an accidental nudge on a nail, an impressive feature I’ve not seen before. The only reason for 4 stars is the brush applicator. The nail color brush style has not yet been updated to the best-tech flat scallop edge on the market, rendering the application to be a bit more tricky than necessary. Chanel has upgraded the gel coat to the new tech brush applicator, so I’m hoping the same will occur product-wide. Everything else about Chanel’s nail colors is top-notch.
