N°5, the very essence of femininity. An aldehydic floral bouquet in a signature minimalist bottle. An iconic and timeless fragrance.

COMPOSITION

The eau de parfum draws inspiration from the parfum, which shares its floral-aldehyde signature.
A floral bouquet composed around May rose and jasmine features bright citrus top notes. Aldehydes give it a unique presence, and a smooth touch of vanilla creates an eternally sensual trail.

INSPIRATION

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel called upon Ernest Beaux to create an intense and original "woman's perfume, a scent of woman." He presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance and decided to simply name it N°5. For this new fragrance, she selected a bottle with a revolutionary design, adorned with a white label and topped with a faceted cabochon. Jacques Polge, the CHANEL nose since 1978, reinterpreted his predecessor's composition in 1986, to create a more voluptuous version of N°5: the eau de parfum.

Redesigned with tomorrow in mind, every element has been optimized to minimize waste. All plastic has been eliminated. Boxes and bags are recyclable and made with 40% recycled* materials and 60% paper from sustainably managed forests, as well as water-based ink and glue. Pouches feature 100% organic cotton.
*Packaging recyclability is dependant on sorting and recycling methods, which vary by location

DELIVERY & RETURNS

What are my delivery options ?

DHL Home delivery within 4 to 6 business days (10€, complimentary over 50€)

Delivery Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 6pm

In case of absence, you will be invited to arrange a new delivery.

After 2 attempts of delivery, you will receive a message inviting you to pick up your parcel in a parcel shop within 7 days

What are your return policies ?

You can return all or part of your order within 30 calendar days from the date of shipping.
Simply complete the return form enclosed with your package (also available on our website if you have created an account) and send us the unused products in their original packaging,along with the return form .
In your package, CHANEL provides a prepaid shipping label to be attached directly on your return parcel before depositing it at a post office.
Eyewear Products may also be returned within a CHANEL fashion boutique.
For health and hygiene protection, cosmetic products that have been unsealed are not eligible for reimbursement.
All products must be returned in their original packaging and eyewear products must be returned with the accessories provided. They also must be returned with their tag. Products that have been altered are not returnable.
If the above conditions are met, you will receive a refund for the returned products as well as the delivery costs that you originally incurred (except in the case of a partial return).
