Nestled in a delicately frosted glass jar, the N°5 body cream, enriched with an active ingredient derived from rose and jasmine, subtly enhances the trail of N°5. Applied generously on the body, its rich, sensual and voluptuous texture leaves the skin soft and moisturised for 8 hours.*

COMPOSITION

Enriched with an active ingredient derived from rose and jasmine, the body cream was formulated to offer a soft and sensual experience of the N°5 floral bouquet.

INSPIRATION

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's perfume with the scent of a woman", intense and original. The nose presented her with a visionary composition that made extraordinary use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance, and decided to name it simply N°5. The innovative scent of the fragrance, as well as the rare simplicity of its name and bottle, revolutionised the history of perfumery.
