CHANEL is pleased to support for the eighth year the Deauville American Film Festival, a major event in international cinema, in the city where CHANEL opened its first boutique in 1912. Ever since Gabrielle Chanel’s time spent in Hollywood, the House has always nurtured strong ties with American cinema. This open-to-all annual festival celebrates the diversity of American cinema, from Hollywood productions to independent films.
This year, the Deauville American Film Festival is featuring a carte blanche programme curated by Catherine Deneuve who shares with the audience the American films that have inspired her. Through this support to the 52nd edition of the Deauville American Film Festival, the House reaffirms its commitment to making cinema accessible to a wide audience and celebrates the diversity and richness of filmmaking.

On the occasion of the Venice International Film Festival, a landmark event for international cinema, CHANEL supports cinematographic creation and accompanies ambassadors and friends of the House on the red carpet.
True to its commitment to cinema and the emergence of new voices, CHANEL is delighted to support the Biennale College – Cinema for the second time.
Actress and House ambassador Marion Cotillard is the mentor of the 2025-26 edition of this programme created by La Biennale di Venezia and which is dedicated to training young filmmakers from around the world. This partnership with the Biennale College – Cinema—an initiative that shares the House’s ambition to the passing down of knowledge—continues the links between the House and the silver screen initiated by Gabrielle Chanel.
