Red camellia is the key ingredient in N°1 DE CHANEL. This plant can live for up to 200 years(1), defying time itself with its extraordinary longevity. Backed by 19 years of studies and an understanding of the camellia on a molecular level, CHANEL Research selected a powerful youth-boosting active ingredient: red camellia extract. The flower is transformed into an active ingredient using a three-step extraction process: the petals first undergo cold fragmentation, and their antioxidant properties are then released through hydrofusion. Finally, the resulting solution is purified.

The camellia is showcased in all its forms at the heart of the N°1 DE CHANEL anti-aging beauty line.
- Red camellia extract, a super-antioxidant that contains a high concentration of a polyphenol and is as effective as vitamin C(2), doubles skin's antioxidant capacity(3). It also boosts skin vitality mechanisms by 63%(4) in order to reinforce its youthful appearance.

HOW TO USE

Morning and night after using the serum, apply the N°1 DE CHANEL rich revitalizing cream to the face and neck, tapping lightly with the fingertips to keep the skin looking youthfully radiant for longer.
Using the palms of your hands, gently smooth from the jawline up to the ears, from the sides of the nose to the ears, from the center of the forehead to the temples, and finally, from the ears down to the neck.
