On the outskirts of Paris, Mademoiselle owned a home named Bel Respiro – a countryside residence set among dazzling meadows, with crisp grass that invited luncheon on the lawn. She would go there with her friends in the spring, to enjoy a breath of fresh air in this bucolic setting.
