Vanilla Planifolia was identified by CHANEL in Madagascar and selected from among over 117 varieties of vanilla for the unique rejuvenating benefits it has for skin. It is grown and harvested on the island, in the CHANEL open-sky laboratory, using traditional methods.
A polyfractioned active ingredient
Vanilla polyfractioning is a specific CHANEL extraction process that results in polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia, which is rich in polyketones and has a 40 times higher concentration of active molecules than the raw plant material.
