The artists defining the new and the next
Introducing the 2026 winners of the CHANEL Next Prize.
The CHANEL Next Prize is a biennial award that recognises contemporary artists who are redefining their disciplines.
Established in 2021 by CHANEL Culture Fund and now in its third edition, the Next Prize is designed to catalyse innovation by providing recipients with the time and space to realise ambitious new projects.
The winners receive 100,000€ in unrestricted funding to accelerate the impact of their work. In addition to the grant, they join a two-year mentorship and networking programme facilitated by cultural partners of the House, including the Royal College of Art in London.
