Vanilla Planifolia: Identified by CHANEL in 1995 and selected from among more than 117 varieties of vanilla, Vanilla Planifolia is extraordinarily rich in polyketones. A flower that likes both the shade and the light, it grows in darkness and blooms in the light of dawn. To obtain the signature SUBLIMAGE active ingredient, CHANEL Research developed Vanilla Planifolia polyfractioning after several years of study. This unique process makes it possible to concentrate the active molecules from the plant in 3 successive steps: extraction, purification, and molecular distillation. Polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia, the product of this long and meticulous patented* process, is an active ingredient that has a 40 times higher concentration of active molecules than the raw plant material. Within the skin, it increases cellular regeneration threefold**.
Himalayan Swertia is sourced from a treasure trove of biodiversity in Bhutan, where it has been used for centuries to care for the skin. The product of a sustainable local partnership with CHANEL Research, it is harvested by hand every three years, which reflects the length of its flowering cycle. It is then transformed through a process specific to CHANEL, resulting in an active ingredient complex that repairs the skin: +73% overall tissue repair***.

HOW TO USE
For the ultimate nighttime skincare experience, use SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait de Nuit along with the exclusive L’EXTRAIT DE FASCIA technique. This technique, which was developed exclusively by CHANEL experts and is inspired by fasciatherapy, helps bring out the full skin-enhancing power of SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait de Nuit.
To begin, apply SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait de Nuit.
Then take a few minutes to ground yourself in the present moment: a chance to reconnect with yourself. Place your head in your hands, gently resting your palms underneath your eyes. Close your eyes and spend a few moments taking deep breaths.
Then continue on with the following sequence of movements. Each movement can be broken down into 3 steps: stretch the skin, glide while keeping it taut, then pause and hold it in place before releasing. Repeat each movement 3 times, gradually slowing down to match the rhythm of your breathing.
Movements for the forehead:
• Starting from the center of your forehead, stretch the skin toward your temples on either side.
• Next, place your fingers between your eyebrows and glide them up your forehead in one slow, continuous vertical motion.
• Finally, using two fingers, one on either side of your eyebrow, glide along its length from the inner corner to the outer tip.
Movements for the cheeks:
• Place your hands in the center of your face, cupping your nose, then glide outward in a sweeping, enveloping motion.
• Place your fingers under your cheekbones, just in front of your ears. Gently stretch the skin downward with your left hand, while tilting your head to the left with your right hand. Pause, then begin again, this time to the right side.
Movements for the jawline:
• Bend your fingers, using the index and middle fingers to cup your jaw on either side, then glide from the tip of your chin up toward your ears.
Movements for the base of the neck:
• Place the palm of your right hand on your left trapezius muscle, stretching it forward. Slowly turn your head to the left. Pause, then repeat the movement on the other side.
To round out this exclusive technique, take a deep breath while lifting your chin, opening your chest, and pulling your shoulders back to stretch your chest. Pause for a moment, then, as you exhale, let your body naturally curl inward, rounding your back. Repeat, this time with bigger movements.
