The N°1 DE CHANEL cream preserves skin's youth: skin is plump and smooth, its elasticity is improved, and its barrier function is strengthened. The gel-cream formula features a smooth, lightweight texture, offering easy application.
It is formulated with powerful ingredients selected by CHANEL experts, which work at the very heart of the skin:
- Red camellia extract boosts skin vitality mechanisms and protects skin from oxidative stress.
- An oligopeptide stimulates the markers of skin youth.
- A camellia ceramide strengthens skin.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Red camellia is the key ingredient in N°1 DE CHANEL. This plant can live for up to 200 years(1), defying time itself with its extraordinary longevity. After 19 years of studying camellias, CHANEL Research has brought to light the extraordinary power of red camellia extract, obtained using a three-step extraction process: the petals first undergo cold fragmentation, and their antioxidant properties are then released through hydrofusion. Finally, the resulting solution is purified.
Red camellia extract, which has a high concentration of protocatechuic acid, boosts skin vitality mechanisms by 63%(2) and protects skin from oxidative stress to preserve its youth.
The N°1 DE CHANEL cream reflects a comprehensive, camellia-centric approach to formulation. The cream is composed of 67% ingredients derived from the camellia, which is showcased in all its forms—extract, ceramide, oil, yeast, and water. Camellia husks, a by-product of camellia oil production, make up 10% of the materials used in the lid of the jar.
N°1 DE CHANEL is an environmentally conscious beauty line. The cream's patented refill(3) is designed to lower its carbon footprint: refilling your jar of cream twice reduces it by around half(4).
Some of the product's packaging components are also recyclable(5). The jar is made with lighter glass(6) and features organic ink(7); the lid is composed of more than 85% bio-based materials, including camellia seed husks and wood by-products sourced from FSC-certified supply networks. It is packaged without cellophane and does not come with a leaflet. The cream is formulated with 97%(8) naturally derived ingredients.

To extend the life of your N°1 DE CHANEL cream, insert this refill into the empty jar.
Apply the N°1 DE CHANEL cream to the face and neck every morning and evening after applying the serum. Lightly tap the skin with your fingertips for a longer-lasting youthful glow.
Using the palms of your hands, gently smooth from the jawline up to the ears, from the sides of the nose to the ears, from the center of the forehead to the temples, and finally, from the ears down to the neck.
Skin is left plump, strengthened, and youthfully radiant.
