ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

CHANEL Research has developed an innovative formula with a high concentration of active ingredients.

Vanilla Planifolia was selected from among more than 117 varieties of the plant due to it being extraordinarily rich in polyketones. Grown and harvested at the CHANEL open-sky laboratory in Madagascar, it has been honed to create four active ingredients that lend their concentrated skin-enhancing properties to the formula: polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia, éphémères of Planifolia, enfleurage oil and intense vanilla water.

Himalayan Swertia is sourced from a treasure trove of biodiversity in Bhutan, where it has been used for centuries to care for the skin. The product of a sustainable local partnership with CHANEL Research, it is harvested by hand every three years, which reflects the length of its flowering cycle. It is then transformed through a process specific to CHANEL, resulting in an active ingredient complex that revives the skin.

A naturally derived chronopeptide helps skin resynchronise its biological clock and set its rejuvenating and reviving cycle in motion.

HOW TO USE

The signature technique, LE GESTE SUBLIME RÉPARATION, enhances both the sensory experience offered by the product and its rejuvenating and reviving effects.

STEP 1: THE CHANEL APPLICATION
Apply a small amount of SUBLIMAGE L’Extrait de Nuit to the cheeks, forehead and neck. With both hands, smooth over the face from the centre outwards.
For the neck, follow your jawline.

STEP 2: REINVIGORATING MOVEMENTS
Using the entire surface of the palms and fingers, perform deep, enveloping effleurage strokes.
Start on the T-zone and work up to the forehead, then move on to the cheeks, lip area, jawline and trapezius.
Repeat the movement three times on each area.

STEP 3: LE GESTE SUBLIME RADIANCE
Bend the fingers and massage from the centre of the face outwards, performing deep circular movements under the jawline, along the jawline, and on the cheeks and forehead.
The jawline appears redefined, wrinkles appear reduced and tension is eliminated.
Skin is revived, soothed and smooth.
