UV ESSENTIEL offers the benefits of a new and improved skincare formula, for complete protection. It protects the skin from UV rays, pollution and oxidation, all at once. Even when it is cloudy, the sun's rays are constantly damaging the skin throughout the year, accelerating skin aging. SPF 50 and a "skin strengthening" complex, made with ginger extract from the CHANEL open-sky laboratory in Madagascar, and Tahitian gardenia extract, protect against UV rays and boost the skin's natural defences. Filters act as a shield against UV rays and prevent premature photo-aging. Its unique texture, as light as a gel and as comfortable as a cream, leaves behind a delicate veil on the skin. Protected, fortified and hydrated, skin is left looking radiant.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

When worn daily, UV ESSENTIEL protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays, day in and day out, and offers powerful protection against both direct and indirect exposure to sunlight with SPF 50.

UV ESSENTIEL has been enriched with a "skin strengthening" complex made with ginger extract from the CHANEL open-sky laboratory in Madagascar, and Tahitian gardenia extract. Ginger boosts the skin's natural defences and gardenia extract strengthens the skin barrier, helping to prevent premature aging.
Dual-action UV ESSENTIEL provides immediate protection from UV rays while offering 8-hour(4) non-stop hydration, for an instant glow and safeguarded skin.

This sits perfectly under makeup and lasts throughout the day. I have sensitive skin and this product causes no irritation. The serum like texture makes it feel more like skincare than sun protection.
