Illuminate an eyeshadow with a sheer wash of pearlescence, or make the eyes pop with a pearly white: the OMBRE ESSENTIELLE top coat can be layered over another shade or used by itself, for a natural-looking satin sheen.

The top coat glides onto the desired area of the eyes in a single swipe. The eyeshadow blends seamlessly onto the lids and wears like a second skin. Its formula, enriched with sage oil, offers the sensory appeal of a new, ultra-soft and creamy powder texture.

The iconic case, inimitably elegant and adorned with a double-C engraving, opens to reveal a wide mirror and three versatile applicators: a white foam applicator for sweeping on eyeshadow, a synthetic-bristle brush for blending and a tapered eyeliner brush for adding structure and definition.

HOW TO USE

Own your makeup look with the OMBRE ESSENTIELLE top coat. Apply it to various areas of the eyes to add light and radiance.
- Use on the entire lid to impart subtle pearlescence and pink and peach shimmer.
- Illuminate the eyes by applying it to small, targeted areas such as the inner corner of the eye, beneath the brow bone or the centre of the lid.

The colour is very hard to see on the website so I would recommend going to the shop and trying it on as it is a lot darker pink when you put it on. I love Chanel products and I'm sure it's a good product but the colour is not what I expected unfortunately so I'm a bit disappointed.

I was really excited to try this eyeshadow. So far, I have only been able to get a very subtle effect from it-and it is more peachy than pink. I have tried it with an eye shadow primer, concealer, over another shadow, everything! I do like it, but it is subtle. It is a topper so I was hoping for a bit 'more'. The best way for me to use it so far has been as an inner corner shade and I have dragged it out towards the centre of my under eye. I have a feeling the more I use it the more beautiful I will feel it is but it was not an instant wow. The lilac one however if anyone has tried that is stunning! The colour pay off is fab and the shade is just perfect. I have just ordered the lilac mascara to go with it for the summer and I am excited to try the combination. Have to say I like the new direction Chanel beauty seems to have been going in lately with Rivage, L Ocean etc… definitely more young and fun I think but with class! I am a fan.

Stunning This shadow gives a peach/pink shimmer. It is so pretty. It glides on wonderful silky texture.Looks beautiful on its own but also adds another level on top of another shadow add it on the Jade Facette and it gives a golden sheen. Love this.
