POUR MONSIEUR eau de parfum reinterprets the first men's fragrance launched by Gabrielle Chanel in 1955. A more intense version of the original fragrance that still retains its sober character. For an elegant, charismatic, quick-witted man.

ART OF PERFUMING

The eau de parfum is sprayed directly on skin or inside clothing for a more intense scent. It is defined by a more fragrant composition with a higher concentration of noble raw materials for a more pronounced character. A full range of shaving and body products is available for an intensified scent throughout the day.

First gentleman's scent I fell in love with. I actually asked the man wearing it what his eau de parfum was. Twenty or so years later when I met my husband, I bought this for him and I still love how it smells on him. Dreamy, warm, chic, relaxed, elegant, poised.

This version is not at all like the old EDT or concentrated EDT. It's quiet to the point of almost being undetectable. Honestly I'm very disappointed. In this day and age I don't see this being noticed cutting through the fragrance in laundry detergent, or over a shower gel. It smells good, a beautiful chypre in a classic style but so little projection there's really no point.

My husband has always used pour monsieur toilette but it didn’t seem to Have the same strength so he is trying the parfum. It still doesn’t smell like it used to, we wondered if anything has changed.
