The N°1 DE CHANEL eye cream combines the youth-boosting power of red camellia extract and the Light Complex, for a visibly smoother, radiant eye area and an instantly energised, bright-eyed look.

This ultra-fresh gel-cream leaves the eye area moisturised and the eyes looking visibly more open.
- Immediately after application, the elasticity of the skin around the eyes appears improved by 11%(1). Skin looks 39%(1) more radiant and feels 26%(2) more comfortable.

CAMELLIA SCIENCE FOR SKIN'S YOUTH.

Red camellia is the key ingredient in N°1 DE CHANEL. This plant can live for up to 200 years(1), defying time itself with its extraordinary longevity. Backed by 19 years of studies and an understanding of the camellia on a molecular level, CHANEL Research selected a powerful youth-boosting active ingredient: red camellia extract. The flower is transformed into an active ingredient using a three-step extraction process: the petals first undergo cold fragmentation, and their antioxidant properties are then released through hydrofusion. Finally, the resulting solution is purified. 

The camellia is showcased in all its forms at the heart of the N°1 DE CHANEL anti-ageing beauty line.
- Red camellia extract, a super-antioxidant that contains a high concentration of a polyphenol and is as effective as vitamin C(2), doubles skin's antioxidant capacity(3). It also supports skin vitality(4), helping to preserve its youthful appearance.
- Red camellia oil delivers comfort to the skin and helps maintain its protective moisture barrier.
- Camellia water leaves the skin feeling fresh.
The Light Complex targets the appearance of dark circles and puffiness.

N°1 DE CHANEL is an environmentally conscious beauty line. The eye cream contains 91% naturally derived ingredients(5) and 40% camellia-derived ingredients. Several of its packaging components are recyclable(6). The packaging is cellophane-free and does not come with a leaflet, and the ink used on the bottle is organic(7).

HOW TO USE

Apply to the entire eye area with the fingertips every morning and evening.
Then, perform smoothing movements across the upper eyelid, from the inner corner outwards (repeat three times).
Smooth the area around the crow's feet (repeat three times).
Smooth the area below the eye in an outward direction: start from the outer corner of the eye, then from the middle of the eye, and lastly from the inner corner of the eye (repeat three times).
Smooth the frown lines from bottom to top, then apply any remaining product to the eyelashes.
