THE FILM OF THE SHOW
CHANEL SPRING-SUMMER 2023 READY-TO-WEAR

Within a cinematic background, brought to life against a 360° cinema screen from “Last Year in Marienbad” (1961) by Alain Resnais, the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection incites the very essence of “allure”. Exploring a freedom of movement and expression – embodied by Kristen Stewart – Virginie Viard imagines a collage of glamour, swirling with modernity and lightness.

“Our identities are lifelong, evolving art projects. To know who you are is to adopt an animal subject to change. It’s not a fixed notion. The mythologies that define us, that unite us, they’re ours to create.”

Kristen Stewart filmed by Inez & Vinoodh for the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear show.
