As a grand partner of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories in Hyères since 2014, CHANEL is renewing its support for this major event in the new global creative scene. On the occasion of the 36th edition of the festival, the ‘le19M CHANEL Métiers d'art Prize’ was awarded to the best collaboration between the ten fashion designers in competition and ten Maisons belonging to CHANEL’s Métiers d’art.
The Fashion jury awarded this prize to Rukpong Raimaturapong for the result of his collaboration with the hatter and milliner Maison Michel. The winner receives a grant of 20,000 euros dedicated to the making of a new creative project, which will be unveiled next year at the 37th edition of the festival.
This year, 2020 winners Emma Bruschi, Tom Van der Borght, Ddiddue and Juana Etcheberry, presented the fruits of their collaboration with the CHANEL Métiers d'art in an exhibition held at the Villa Noailles.
