The video starts with the CHANEL Fine Jewellery logo, it then displays the title of the video “N°5 Collection The 55.55 Necklace”. The whole necklace appears and is shown from every angle. First in its entirety, rotating from top to bottom. Next, we can see the smaller details of the pendant and the stones that make up the necklace, especially the 55.55-carat centre diamond. The video ends with a shot of the whole necklace, followed by the CHANEL Fine Jewellery logo.
“For the N°5 Collection, I wanted to source an extraordinary diamond to reflect Gabrielle Chanel’s exacting standards used in the creation of the fragrance.”\u000d\u000a

“From the beginning of the process, I knew that I wanted to do a piece with a very special gemstone,” says Patrice Leguéreau, Director of the Fine Jewellery Creation Studio, “and after months of research, a diamond was found that would support this idea.”
The video starts with the CHANEL Fine Jewellery logo, it then displays the title of the video “N°5 Collection”, and the 55.55-ct diamond. Here we see the different steps for preparing and cutting the 55.55-ct diamond that is found on the 55.55 necklace, a masterpiece from the collection. The video ends with the CHANEL Fine Jewellery logo.
Fiery white and eternally flawless, a rare diamond has been exactingly cut to 55.55 carats in honour of the legendary fragrance. In the same stroke of creativity in which N°5 was created, this stone is mounted on a necklace of signature design that embodies the codes of the perfume: the silhouette of the stopper and bottle, a clasp in the form of the numerical five, and a shimmering fall of hand-set diamonds that cascade like the perfume’s bouquet.
Surrounding the 55.55-carat stone, the necklace takes form in more than 700 diamonds, each sourced and validated by the CHANEL Stone Department together with the Jewellery Creation Studio. The neck extends in baguette-cut stones as calibrated diamonds shape the shoulders, while the neckband is a fall of brilliant-cut diamonds gradating to shimmering pave. Five pear-cut stones identical in quality, including an 8.36-carat diamond, are droplets of the fabled perfume, harmoniously blending like the notes of the fragrance.
N°5 COLLECTION The Bottle
A film about Savoir-faire: The Bottle
The film starts with the CHANEL Fine Jewellery logo, followed by the title “N°5 Collection The Bottle”. Patrice Leguéreau, director of the CHANEL Fine Jewellery Creative Studio, is observing a diamond. He is then seen painting the silhouette of the N°5 perfume bottle which has served as inspiration for many pieces in the Fine Jewellery collection. In the background we see different drawings of perfumes. We then see the diamond ready to be placed on top of the 55.55 necklace’s gouache, a masterpiece from the collection. The video ends with the CHANEL Fine Jewellery logo.
The 55.55-carat diamond evokes the purity of the infamous bottle, but like the mysterious woman who wears the fragrance, it also guards a secret. Further challenging the boundaries of High Jewellery design and the savoir-faire that crafts it, the diamond has been cleverly fashioned to mimic the form of the N°5 stopper, detaching as if one was about to apply a splash of the famous perfume. Patrice Leguéreau adds of this remarkable feat, “I want to look forward not backwards—to celebrate the timeless creation that N°5 is, and all that it holds for the future.”
