COMPOSITION

Inspired by the smooth harmony of rose and jasmine that composes N°5, the body oil was formulated to delicately express the sensuality of the N°5 floral bouquet. Made with 84% naturally derived ingredients*, N°5 The Body Oil moisturises skin and leaves it nourished with a soft-satin finish.

INSPIRATION

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create an intense and original "woman's perfume, a scent of woman." The nose presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance and decided to simply name it N°5. The innovative scent of the fragrance, along with the rare simplicity of its name and bottle, revolutionised the history of perfumery.

I have the original spray version of this which is fine and luxurious. I'm running out so ordered this, which is named exactly the same, to replace it. On opening I found it to be thick like cooking oil and greasy in the skin. When I looked at the ingredients I was horrified to find it says Sunflower(seed) oil! I won't be buying this again.

Has the No5 scent that we all love, a thick and luxurious oil that instantly feels wonderful on the skin. Heavier than the Coco mademoiselle body oil. I like putting a splash of this in when running a bath.

The oil is light, not sticky and leaves the skin smooth with a heathy glow. I was expecting the No 5 scent to be more prominent. I use the soap, body lotion and now the oil, hoping it would add to the layering effect - but I was disappointed with the low level of fragrance.

This oil is luxurious and softens the skin leaving it feeling silky and moisturised. The scent is quite prominent at first, however as with perfume, it settles and leaves a light and subtle fragrance.

Amazing. Leaves a very light sheen on the skin, sinks in beautifully so you can get dressed. I'm using it overnight and the improvement in my skin in the morning, even after showering, is very obvious. And the fragrance remains. Skin still feels incredibly moisturised throughout the following day. Smell-wise, as some notes of No 5 would have been removed, you get a beautiful hybrid of No 5 with it's white musk tones coming through. Worth every penny.

CHANEL offers the following delivery options; Standard Delivery, Next Day Delivery, Nominated Day Delivery, Saturday Delivery and Click & Collect service from our London boutiques.

We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if you wish to return the Product(s), you can return all or part of your order within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt.
