DESCRIPTION

N°5, the very essence of femininity.
The eau de toilette is a vibrant echo of the floral bouquet launched by Gabrielle Chanel in 1921. A warm and bright version of the original fragrance that comes in a refillable purse spray you can take with you anywhere.

COMPOSITION

The richness of a magnificent floral accord.
Powerful top notes, dominated by Ylang-Ylang and Neroli, are exalted by aldehydes. The alchemy of Vanilla, Vetiver and Sandalwood create a warm and vibrant trail.

INSPIRATION

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's perfume with a woman's scent", rare and powerful. The nose presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance, and decided to name it simply N°5. In 1924, she launched the N°5 eau de toilette.

I love this size for my No 5, but why do I have to buy a spray bottle with every purchase, why not just sell the refill. That's all I need

Lacking in strength. I have used chanel no. 5 for over 40 years, I normally shop in store, but as unable to do so, I bought online. And the no5 eau de toilette did not have a very chanel no5 smell, it was very weak. And it did not last long at all. If I have not bought it from the chanel website I would question it was real chanel no. 5.

When I spray the perfume on me I feel fantastic. The casing is beautiful and fits very nicely in my handbag. I feel great when I'm wearing it and its not just for the evenings!

I love this handbag-sized kit so now I'm never more than a few feet from my favourite No 5. The spray is so chic, and I keep it in the little bag from the samples, it fits perfectly and will keep it looking good as new.

Handy handbag size and love that it comes with 2 refills. I hadn't realised that the perfume and Eau de Toilette have a slightly different fragrance but this is the one I love and I am delighted with my purchase.

CHANEL offers the following delivery options; Standard Delivery, Next Day Delivery, Nominated Day Delivery, Saturday Delivery and Click & Collect service from our London boutiques.

what are your return / exchange policies ?

We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if you wish to return the Product(s), you can return all or part of your order within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt.
Please firstly complete the online returns form here and pack your item(s) carefully in original or appropriate alternative packaging. If you wish to cancel your return, please contact CHANEL Client Care team at +44 (0) 203 943 5555.
