HANDBAG STORIES:
BOY CHANEL

Inspired by hunters' cartridge bags Mademoiselle used to wear slung across her body, CHANEL's Boy handbag embodies androgynous elegance. Created by Karl Lagerfeld, the iconic design owes its name to Gabrielle Chanel's first love, Boy Capel.

The bag's clean lines, rectangular shape and striking clasp give it an avant-garde look. Thanks to its chain strap, it can be worn multiple ways to conjure up a style fit for today or the future.

HANDBAG STORIES :
CHANEL'S GABRIELLE BAG

CHANEL’s GABRIELLE bag brings together two materials and expresses the masculine/feminine style so dear to Gabrielle Chanel, after whom it is named. A recent design by Karl Lagerfeld, the handbag takes its inspiration from virtual reality glasses, giving it a decidedly contemporary look. A rigid base and soft body heighten the multiple contrasts. Thanks to the double silver and gold metal chain, it can be worn in different ways, long or short, on the shoulder or across the body or both.

HANDBAG STORIES:
THE NEW CAMPAIGN

For the Spring-Summer 2018 handbag campaign, Karl Lagerfeld invited Kaia Gerber to Gabrielle Chanel's apartment. The series of photographs captures the model on Mademoiselle's sofa with CHANEL's iconic handbags. The CHANEL's GABRIELLE bag, Boy CHANEL, and 11.12 designs alternate with the Vanity and Camera bags to accessorize summer dresses and tweed miniskirts. In a wide variety of shapes and colors, fabrics and brand new patterns, these designs enrich CHANEL's accessories collection season after season.
