EYE-CATCHING CRAFTSMANSHIP:
INSIDE THE LEMARIÉ ATELIERS

Drawing from the rich palette and geometric patterns beloved by the ancient Egyptians, individual feathers were dyed turquoise, red, navy and black and gold, before they were hand cut and assembled line-by-line on the finest black organza. The studied technique took over 1000 hours to complete before the CHANEL couturiers fashioned the work of art into this eye-catching silhouette.
