Every pair of CHANEL sunglasses is a fragile piece made with special materials. Therefore, you need to care for each type of frame in a particular way. There are general care instructions in a booklet that comes with your glasses.

For special materials like leather and pearls, ask for advice in a CHANEL Boutique, an authorized CHANEL eyewear retailer, online or by telephone at 020 7493 5040, Monday-Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sunday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

CHANEL eyewear is made in Italy.

All CHANEL lenses feature an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant and oil-resistant coating and are offered with solid, gradient, matte or mirrored effects. Specific treatments such as polarized or 18-carat gold might also be present. All CHANEL lenses are 100% protective against UVA and UVB rays, offering UV 400 protection.

Frame dimensions can be found on the product page for each eyewear model. We also invite you to visit the nearest  CHANEL Fashion Boutique where a Fashion Advisor will be able to verify measurements and recommend a size for you. 

Universal:Features a metal frame that allows nose pads to be adjusted manually for a more personalized fit.
Standard: Provides a comfortable fit for most faces.
Alternative:Features a built-up nose pad so that glasses sit higher on those who have a low nose bridge

Our CHANEL Sunglasses Online Boutique offers an E-Reservation service where you can try on your purchase in our New Bond Street Fashion Boutique, with assistance from a Fashion Advisor.

You can also select ‘Perfect Fit’ with our Concierge delivery service and receive adjustment on selected frames.

 

Some of our frames can fit corrective lenses. Please refer to the product features on each product page to determine whether a frame is prescription-friendly.

CHANEL Sunglasses are not suitable for directly viewing the sun, for viewing solar eclipses, for use as protection against UV rays from artificial light sources such as tanning beds, for use as eye protection against blows or impact, or for driving at night or in poor-visibility conditions.

For all purchases greater than £25, you can receive a tax refund on the day of purchase if you are a resident outside the European Union and are able to present your original passport. You must leave the European Union before the end of the third month following your purchase.

The validated tax refund export sales form must be submitted to the partner of our tax refund service provider (PREMIER TAX FREE) for an immediate refund in cash (at airports or in the city center) at a rate of 11.7% of the purchase total (incl. tax), or directly to PREMIER TAX FREE by payment card or transfer at a rate of 13% of the purchase total (incl. tax).

If you experience any problems with your refund, you can send an e-mail to mytaxrefund@premiertaxfree.com, making sure to provide the following information: tax refund export sales form number, date of purchase, purchase total, and name of boutique, or you can attach a photo of the tax refund export sales form you received.

We invite you to bring the product you wish to return or exchange in original and unaltered condition, within 14 days of purchase (within 28 days if purchased at Selfridges), to the CHANEL Boutique of your choice (Store Locator) in the country of purchase, in its original packaging and accompanied by the original receipt and tax refund export sales form where applicable.

We recommend going to the CHANEL Boutique of your choicewhere an advisor will help you with the repair process. Your product will be thoroughly inspected and sent to our atelier for repair/assessment.

An invoice is issued with each purchase. In the event of theft or loss of the product, it is possible to obtain a duplicate by providing supporting documents (copy of complaint form, affidavit, and a copy of your ID card).

We kindly ask that you provide us with the contact information for the vendor (name and place of sale, regardless if it is a store or a website) so that we can verify if it is CHANEL authorized or not, and so that we can consider which actions should be taken to put an end to activities that may constitute acts of counterfeiting. You can provide us with this information by filling out the Contact us form on our website. If you have filed a complaint against the seller, we remain at the disposal of the authorities to which this complaint has been filed for any information regarding the nature of the product in question.

We wish to draw your attention to the fact that despite the actions we take daily against websites that sell products that infringe on our rights, the Internet remains a particularly significant vector for the dissemination of counterfeit goods. This is why, in your interest, we recommend only purchasing CHANEL goods from CHANEL Boutiques and authorized CHANEL eyewear retailers. This way, there is no risk of encountering counterfeit goods. All eyewear products purchase at a CHANEL Boutique, authorized CHANEL retailer or the CHANEL Sunglasses Online Boutique are guaranteed against defects for 24 months. Please note, defects caused by accidents or improper use are not covered under this warranty.

Optical frames are highly specific to the needs of each individual. To purchase CHANEL optical frames we encourage you to visit an authorized CHANEL retailer.

Once your payment has been made, a confirmation page will appear with your order number indicating that your order has been received, and a confirmation email will be sent.

CHANEL Fashion gift cards are available for purchase in our CHANEL Standalone Boutiques. These can only be used in our CHANEL Standalone Boutiques and are not available for use on our CHANEL Sunglasses Online Boutique.

For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment, except for international credit cards. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not meet these criteria.

CHANEL encrypts your sensitive credit card data within your browser using NIST and PCI SSC-approved public key cryptography, in this case using RSA with a 2048-bit public key to protect a unique browser-generated 256-bit key. The sensitive data fields are encrypted using this key using AES-256 in CCM mode. This data and the encrypted 256-bit key are posted from your browser within a TLS session with the CHANEL webserver. CHANEL does not hold the RSA private key, and cannot decrypt your sensitive credit card data, which is sent through to our payments service provider Adyen, who decrypts the data and arranges the authorisation with your bank.

Click & Collect: Click and Collect is available on all orders placed on the CHANEL Sunglasses Online Boutique with collection from our New Bond Street store in London

  • When Will My Order Be Ready To Collect? You will receive a text message when your order is ready to collection. Click & Collect is available during store hours from our New Bond Street Boutique.
  • How Long Are Orders Kept For Collection? For sunglasses purchased via Click and Collect your order will be available for collection for 14 days from our New Bond Street Boutique.
  • What Do I Need To Bring When I Collect My Order? Please bring your ID and proof of purchase (invoice order confirmation email) to collect your purchase.

E-Reservation: E-Reservation is available on all orders placed on the CHANEL Sunglasses Online Boutique. E-Reservation is available at our New Bond Street store in London. A Fashion Advisor will be able to provide you with personalized fitting and styling advice.

  • How Long Are My Items Reserved For? Sunglasses selected for E-Reservation will be available for 48 hours at our New Bond Street Boutique.
  • What Do I Need To Bring? Please bring your ID and copy of your confirmation email.

Concierge Delivery: Concierge delivery (£8) is available on all orders with a valid delivery address within London, Zones 1-3, Monday to Friday 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Your purchase will be hand delivered within a 30 minute window selected at checkout. Please enter your postcode at checkout to ensure you are eligible for these services.

You may also select additional services with this option:

  • Wait & Try: Your delivery assistant will wait up to half an hour to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
  • Perfect Fit: Your new CHANEL sunglasses will have an immediate adjustment to ensure your comfort (on selected styles only) .
  • Inspire Me: Curated by the CHANEL New Bond Street team, you will be presented additional sunglasses to try on and should you wish, may purchase any additional pairs.

The CHANEL Sunglasses Online Boutique ships to United Kingdom addresses only.

Concierge delivery is currently available within London, Zones 1-3 with a valid postcode, and Monday to Friday 10 AM – 7.30 PM. Please enter your postcode at checkout to ensure you are eligible for this service.

In order to receive a full refund, please complete the return form; attach the prepaid label to the outside of your package and then select from one of the return options detailed below:
