The Artistic Director and Aurelie Filippetti, the French Minister of Culture, visited the new Métiers d'art ateliers in Pantin, near Paris, on Friday, February 7th. These ateliers include embroiderer Lesage, feathermaker Lemarié, milliner Maison Michel, atelier grand flou Paloma, and the goldsmith Goossens, which are honored each year in December with Chanel Metiers d'Art show.
The Minister emphasized, "These trades, this excellence, they are a French exception."
