The new Chanel Eyewear campaign Fall-Winter 2012/13 collection
Karl Lagerfeld created the scenography, decor and visuals for the 26th Biennale des Antiquaires that will be held at the Grand Palais in Paris, from September 14th until September 23rd.
Karl Lagerfeld’s celebrated new tome, “The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld” is now available in bookstores.
For his presentation of the Chanel Fall-Winter 2012/13 Ready-to-Wear collection Karl Lagerfeld has drawn inspiration from Greek mythology and the legend of the Muses, the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne.
With seven muses instead of the traditional nine, Stella Tennant, Alice Dellal and Saskia de Brauw play Calliope, Clio and Thalia, embodying the face of the new Chanel campaign. The line is graphic, the silhouette modern and the mise en scène refined.
The Chinese actress Yao Chen wore a short white dress, look 56 from the Cruise Versailles collection, with a Chanel clutch.
