Tweed is the signature fabric of the CHANEL collections, changing through the seasons and taking on different textures, forms and colors. The tweed intertwines materials and zingy colors, a mixture of bright pastel tones sparkling with dazzling white or candy pink sequins. Very short, geometrical dresses are striking and almost seamless in appearance, featuring pockets trimmed with matching braid to accentuate their symmetry. Round neck or turtleneck, they have the simple look and easy movement of shift dresses. Accessorized with a beret and white tights, they come in bright, pop colors.

Flounced frills in silk chiffon are trimmed with blue rickrack in the Lemarié ateliers. Once sewn together, they build the sleeves and the hem of the dress printed with ocean liners and wind roses. The look is worn with a tweed beret, a leather minaudière, white tights and Mary Janes for a Cruise 2018/19 allure.
