COMPOSITION

A floral, luminous and airy interpretation of N°5.
The voluptuousness of Ylang-Ylang from the Comoros blends into the harmonious and delicate facets of May Rose and Jasmine. Aldehydes grant it a unique presence, and the smooth touch of Vanilla and musky notes create an incredibly feminine trail.

INSPIRATION

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's perfume with a woman's scent", rare and powerful. The nose presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance, and decided to name it simply N°5. In 2008, Jacques Polge, the CHANEL nose since 1978, reinterpreted his predecessor's composition to create a luminous version of N°5: EAU PREMIÈRE.

ART OF PERFUMING

EAU PREMIÈRE is a fragrance meant for more generous use, with smooth and supple application on skin or inside clothing. To revive the notes of the fragrance throughout the day, the spray comes in a practical travel format which you can slip into your purse and take with you anywhere. Redesigned with tomorrow in mind, every element has been optimized to minimize waste. All plastic has been eliminated. Boxes and bags are recyclable and made with 40% recycled* materials and 60% paper from sustainably managed forests, as well as water-based ink and glue. Pouches feature 100% organic cotton.

DELIVERY & RETURNS

What are my delivery options ?

TNT Standard delivery within 5 to 7 business days (15€, complimentary over 70€)

Delivery Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm

You will receive by email and SMS a delivery date notification directly from TNT.

If you wish to reschedule, you may select an alternative delivery date or modify delivery address

In case of absence, you will receive a message inviting you to arrange a new delivery.

What are your return policies ?

You can return all or part of your order within 30 calendar days from the date of shipping.
Simply complete the return form enclosed with your package (also available on our website if you have created an account) and send us the unused products in their original packaging,along with the return form .
In your package, CHANEL provides a prepaid shipping label to be attached directly on your return parcel before depositing it at a post office.
Eyewear Products may also be returned within a CHANEL fashion boutique.
For health and hygiene protection, cosmetic products that have been unsealed are not eligible for reimbursement.
All products must be returned in their original packaging and eyewear products must be returned with the accessories provided. They also must be returned with their tag. Products that have been altered are not returnable.
If the above conditions are met, you will receive a refund for the returned products as well as the delivery costs that you originally incurred (except in the case of a partial return).
