For this new series of podcasts devoted to the Métiers d'art, Joana Preiss talked with Hubert Barrère, artistic director of the Lesage embroidery atelier founded in 1958. Hubert Barrère explained how the Lesage heritage builds the future and stimulates innovation through combining traditional craftsmanship with 21st century techniques. In the creation of each new collection, the CHANEL studio works with the Lesage ateliers to produce unique pieces such as silver beads-embroidered ribbed caps and tops from the Paris-Hamburg collection.
