Through this innovative and inclusive concept, the House’s Makeup Creation Studio accelerates its artistic momentum, leveraging the power of multiple points of view to open a new realm of possibility.

As of October 2022, these rising stars have begun to shine and will each work in their own way to expand the CHANEL palette of colours and shades, reinterpret icons and enrich the House’s creative language. Theirs is the art of dreaming, creating and redefining the role makeup plays and will play in our lives.

Each member of the collective has been chosen for their vibrant and singular vision of beauty as well as their values, which resonate with those of CHANEL. Together, they will write a new chapter of how the House explores the way people see themselves. They will bring their unique perspectives, authoring their own seasonal collections and working on shared releases. The spirit of communication and collaborative creation is as alive as ever at the House of CHANEL and is at the heart of the COMETES COLLECTIVE.

Galvanized by mutual inspiration, they will engage in a multi-hued dialogue that will only grow richer over time, with new points of view joining the conversation. The COMETES COLLECTIVE is a tribe of independent thinkers united by the conviction that beauty comes from the freedom to be and become yourself in all your richness, complexity and nuance.

By forming this community, the Makeup Creation Studio follows in the entrepreneurial footsteps of Gabrielle Chanel—revolutionary and at the service of an iconic style that defines its time.

With their respective trajectories and shared passion for collaboration, Ammy Drammeh, Cécile Paravina and Valentina Li are the first artists to join the COMETES COLLECTIVE.
The House is proud to partner with these deserving recipients of international acclaim for their creativity, expertise and free and authentic views of beauty. With support from the studio, they will develop new creations and inspiring content for CHANEL makeup lovers.

Having already embarked on this exciting new chapter, the House will reveal the first collections from the COMETES COLLECTIVE in January 2024.
