The N°1 DE CHANEL refining youth emulsion reinforces skin's youthful appearance and refines its texture.
After just 7 days, skin is transformed: it is visibly smooth and mattified, and pores are refined.

Its formula is enriched with a powerful duo of active ingredients selected by CHANEL Research:
- Red camellia extract, a super-antioxidant, doubles skin's antioxidant capacity(1) in order to reinforce its youthful appearance;
- A precisely balanced, retexturising AHA and camellia complex refines skin texture.

The emulsion has a lightweight, transforming texture that becomes water-like upon contact with the skin, combining comfort and freshness. Striking a perfect balance between oil and water, its unique formula acts as an alternative to the N°1 DE CHANEL cream and provides long-lasting hydration for up to 12 hours(2).

CAMELLIA SCIENCE FOR SKIN'S YOUTH.

Red camellias can live for up to 200 years(1), defying time itself with their extraordinary longevity. Backed by 19 years of studies and an understanding of the camellia on a molecular level, CHANEL Research has transformed this flower into a powerful youth-boosting active ingredient: red camellia extract. It is obtained using a three-step extraction process: the petals first undergo cold fragmentation, and their antioxidant properties are then released through hydrofusion. Finally, the resulting solution is purified.

Red camellia extract, a super-antioxidant that contains a high concentration of a polyphenol and is as effective as Vitamin C(2), doubles skin's antioxidant capacity(3). It also boosts skin vitality mechanisms by 63%(4) in order to reinforce its youthful appearance.

This emulsion is also enriched with a retexturising AHA and camellia complex, for a powerful smoothing and refining effect:
- AHAs eliminate dead cells and other irregularities on the skin's surface. The formula contains a precisely balanced amount of these ingredients, for daily microexfoliation that is gentle and non-abrasive.

HOW TO USE

Apply the N°1 DE CHANEL refining youth emulsion after the serum, as an alternative to the cream.
Dab 5 or 6 dots of product onto the face and neck, morning and night. Using the palms of your hands, gently smooth from the jawline up to the ears, from the sides of the nose to the ears, from the center of the forehead to the temples, and finally, from the ears down to the neck.

Skin is smooth and mattified, and its texture is refined.

Particular Precautions of Use

Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not use on irritated skin. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
Sunburn alert:this product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.
Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product, and for a week afterwards.
