N°5, the very essence of femininity. An aldehyde floral bouquet housed in an iconic bottle with a minimalist design. A timeless, legendary fragrance.
COMPOSITION
The eau de parfum draws inspiration from the parfum with which it shares its floral aldehyde signature. This floral bouquet composed around May Rose and Jasmine features bright citrus top notes. Aldehydes create a unique presence, and the smooth touch of Vanilla an incredibly sensual trail.
INSPIRATION
In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's perfume with a woman's scent", rare and powerful. The nose presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance, and decided to name it simply N°5. For this new fragrance, she opted for a bottle with a revolutionary design, adorned with a white label and topped with a faceted cabochon. In 1986, Jacques Polge, the CHANEL nose since 1978, reinterpreted his predecessor's composition to create a fuller version of N°5: the eau de parfum.
ART OF PERFUMING
The eau de parfum comes in a spray for smooth and supple application on skin or inside clothing.
To revive the notes of the fragrance throughout the day, the spray comes in a practical travel format you can slip into your purse and take with you anywhere.

All CHANEL Online Boutique orders are uniquely packaged and delivered across mainland Australia and Tasmania (excluding remote territories).
• Complimentary Express Delivery on all orders above AUD100
• For orders below AUD100, a shipping fee of AUD10 will be applied
• Delivery within 1-2 business days for Metro cities, and 3-7 business days for Regional cities
• Orders shipped to Collection Points (Parcel Lockers, PO Boxes) are shipped via Standard shipping and may take up to an additional 5 business days

what are your return / exchange policies ?
We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if you wish to return the Product(s), you have the right to do so within 30 days of receiving your order.
In order to receive a full refund, simply follow the instructions below.
1. Please contact our CHANEL Client Care representatives online or by calling 1300 242 635, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, AEST/AEDT (excluding Public Holidays). A Client Care Representative will assess and validate the return and provide a prepaid return label to be attached to your parcel.
2. Please pack your parcel including the samples in their original packaging, along with the packing list and follow the instructions provided by Client Care.
3. Your return order will be received within 3-5 business days and then processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when your return is processed and your refund will received within 3-5 business days. For hygiene and safety reasons, sealed products that have been opened are not eligible for reimbursement unless they are defective.
Currently CHANEL boutiques do not accept returns for orders placed on the CHANEL online Boutique.
Please note that returns will not be accepted at any other retail outlet that sells CHANEL products.
All refunds will be credited to the original card/method that was used for payment, and refund processing time may vary depending on your bank.
