The N°1 DE CHANEL serum helps to visibly smooth skin and preserve its youthful appearance. Wrinkles appear instantly smoother, and efficacy triples after 2 months(1). Its formula is enriched with a powerful duo of active ingredients selected by CHANEL Research:
- Red camellia extract, a super-antioxidant, doubles skin's antioxidant capacity(2), helping to preserve its youthful appearance.
- An oligopeptide supports the key markers of skin youth: collagen, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin, which are naturally found in the skin.

This high-performance serum strengthens skin's defences in the face of a fast-paced urban lifestyle, which accelerates skin ageing. Day after day, skin looks youthfully radiant.

CREAM

The N°1 DE CHANEL cream helps preserve skin's youth: skin appears plumper and smoother, its elasticity feels improved and its moisture barrier is supported. The gel-cream formula features a smooth, lightweight texture, offering easy application.

The N°1 DE CHANEL cream formula is highly concentrated in red camellia extract and a camellia ceramide. It targets the signs of youth, addressing the appearance of wrinkles, pores, elasticity and radiance.

Its refillable packaging is designed for repeated use.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

CAMELLIA SCIENCE FOR SKIN'S YOUTH.

Red camellias can live for up to 200 years(1), defying time itself with their extraordinary longevity. Backed by 19 years of studies and an understanding of the camellia on a molecular level, CHANEL Research selected a powerful youth-boosting active ingredient: red camellia extract.

The flower is transformed into an active ingredient using a three-step extraction process: the petals first undergo cold fragmentation, and their antioxidant properties are then released through hydrofusion. Finally, the resulting solution is purified.

Red camellia extract, a super-antioxidant that contains a high concentration of a polyphenol and is as effective as vitamin C(2), doubles skin's antioxidant capacity(3). It also supports skin vitality(4), helping to preserve its youthful appearance.

SERUM

The serum is also enriched with an oligopeptide, working to support the key markers of skin youth: collagen, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin, which are naturally found in the skin.

N°1 DE CHANEL is an environmentally conscious beauty line. The serum contains 96% naturally derived ingredients(5) and 76% camellia-derived ingredients. Several of its packaging components are recyclable(6). The packaging is cellophane-free and does not come with a leaflet, and the ink used on the bottle is organic(7).

CREAM

In addition to red camellia extract, the cream features other powerful active ingredients that have been carefully selected by CHANEL experts and work at the very heart of the skin:
- An oligopeptide supports the markers of skin youth.
- A camellia ceramide supports skin vitality.

The N°1 DE CHANEL cream reflects a comprehensive, camellia-centric approach to formulation. The cream is composed of 67% ingredients derived from the camellia, which is showcased in all its forms – extract, ceramide, oil, yeast and water. Camellia husks, a by-product of camellia oil production, make up 10% of the materials used in the lid of the jar.

The cream is housed in refillable packaging, and some of its components are recyclable(8). The jar is made with lighter glass(9) and its lid is composed of more than 85% bio-based materials, including camellia seed husks and wood by-products sourced from FSC-certified supply networks. It is cellophane-free, does not come with a leaflet and features organic ink(10). The cream is formulated with 97%(11) naturally derived ingredients.

HOW TO USE

SERUM

CHANEL has developed LE GESTE REVITALISANT N°1 DE CHANEL, a specific application technique designed to improve the effectiveness of the serum.

Turn the cap of the face serum counter-clockwise and dispense the perfect amount of product with the auto-fill dropper.
Smooth the product over the entire face and décolleté.
Then, use your thumbs and index fingers to perform twisted pinching movements from the jaw up to the ears, then from the corners of the mouth to the ears, and from the sides of the nose to the ears. Repeat these pinching movements on the décolleté.

Follow with the N°1 DE CHANEL cream in the morning and evening.

CREAM

Apply the N°1 DE CHANEL cream to the face and neck every morning and evening, after applying the serum. Lightly tap the skin with your fingertips for a longer-lasting youthful glow.
Using the palms of your hands, gently smooth from the jawline up to the ears, from the sides of the nose to the ears, from the centre of the forehead to the temples and, finally, from the ears down to the neck. 

Skin is left looking plumper and youthfully radiant.
