CHANEL FINE JEWELLERY STARS IN THE FILM "ANNA KARENINA" DIRECTED BY JOE WRIGHT
In this new version of the novel by Leo Tolstoy, remade for the third time by Joe Wright, Keira Knightley plays the role of the heroine Anna Karenina.
To give weight to the character, costume designer Jacqueline Durran chose to adorn the actress in CHANEL Fine Jewellery pieces: the
"Camélia Poudré" necklace in white gold with diamonds, "Cascade" earrings in white gold with diamonds, the "Mademoiselle" necklace in white gold with
658 Akoya cultured pearls and "Fleur de perle" earrings in yellow gold with diamonds and cultured South Sea pearls (jewellery based on creations by Lorenz Bäumer).
These costumes earned Jacqueline Durran an Oscar this year in the "Best Achievement in Costume Design" category.
