For almost a century, the House of Lesage has been producing embroideries for all of the major names in Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter. This is the first time the House’s know-how has been used in the creation of a watch dial.
This exceptional collaboration has resulted in a highly colorful, miniature piece that crystallizes Lesage’s traditional know-how. The camellia is reproduced with colored silk threads using a needlepoint-painting technique.
On a deep-black silk background, the lines of embroidery threads form a camellia in a gradation of colors. Each embroidery is unique, revealing the embroiderer’s freedom of movement while patiently creating this work.
