CHANEL FINE JEWELRY STARS IN THE FILM "ANNA KARENINA" DIRECTED BY JOE WRIGHT
In this new version of the novel by Leo Tolstoy, remade for the third time by Joe Wright, Keira Knightley plays the role of the heroine Anna Karenina.
To give weight to the character, costume designer Jacqueline Durran chose to adorn the actress in CHANEL Fine Jewelry pieces: the
"Camélia Poudré" necklace in white gold with diamonds, "Cascade" earrings in white gold with diamonds, the "Mademoiselle" necklace in white gold with Akoya cultured pearls and "Fleur de perle" earrings in yellow gold with diamonds and cultured South Sea pearls (jewelry based on creations by Lorenz Bäumer).
These costumes earned Jacqueline Durran the 2013 Oscar in the "Best Achievement in Costume Design" category.
