To mark the 80th anniversary of the 'Bijoux de Diamants' collection created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1932, CHANEL Jewellery presented 80 new High Jewellery pieces in New York on 9th October 2012. Several well-known Chanel enthusiasts were invited to this private presentation that was followed by a dinner.

From 14 to 23 September 2012, the main hall of the Grand Palais will host the world's leading antique experts, decorators, jewellers and booksellers attending the Biennale des Antiquaires.

To attend this event, the Japanese actress Kiko Mizuhara chose a Camélia Imaginaire necklace in white gold and diamonds.

At the 10th Annual GEM Awards Gala, organised by the Jewelry Information Center (JIC), CHANEL Fine Jewellery received the GEM Award for Corporate Communications, awarded for CHANEL's creativity, coherence and excellence in public relations and communications.

Camille Lacourt, the J12 ambassador, has won gold for the 100m backstroke at the World Championships in Shanghai. He finished the race in 52.76 seconds. A few days later, Camille also picked up the silver medal for the 50m backstroke, finishing in 24.57 seconds. An expert in backstroke, he has already made his mark at an international level by bringing home three gold medals at the European Championships.
